Abstract. This instruction gives basic guidelines for preparing the papers for the Conference Proceedings in a uniform editorial layout. Use this document as an instruction set. Abstract should be kept within 15 lines of text.     (10 points)

1. INTRODUCTION

Proceedings of the 6th National Science and Technology Conference on DIAGNOSTICS OF INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES will be printed by the camera-ready method without any editor corrections. The Organising Committee strongly recommends following strictly the rules presented bellow.     (11 points)

2. PAPER FORMAT
  • paper should contain an even number of pages but not more than six pages,
  • paper size: A4,
  • preferred text editor: MS WORD or LATEX,
  • suggested font: Times New Roman,
  • use 10-point fonts for the paper header, abstract, references, figures and tables titles,
  • use 11-point fonts for the body of the paper,
  • paper should be printed it in the two-column format, including figures and tables,
  • column width: 75 mm,
  • distance between columns: 10 mm,
  • page height: 250 mm,
  • all the margins: 25 mm,
  • allowable number of rows in a column: 55,
  • place the Conference title in the header of the first page of the paper (see the file: FORMAT.doc).     (10 points)
  • figures should be fixed in the right places of the paper or printed along with the text,
  • place the figure numbers (e.g. Fig. 1.) with their titles below the figures,     (10 points)
  • place table numbers (e.g. Table 1.) with their titles above the tables,     (10 points)
  • enumerate equations consecutively with their numbers in parentheses located to the right side of the column,
  • enumerate the bibliographical references in square brackets [1], according to a list of references given in an alphabetical ordering at the end of the paper,
  • print on one side of A4 sheets using a high-quality laser printer, and number the pages with a soft pencil on the reverse side.

3. SUMMARY

Note that the quality of the ready-made papers affects the appearance of the Conference Proceedings. For your convenience, a instruction prepared following the above described rules can be downloaded below.     (11 points)
